Wolfe Automotive Group owns Acura, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Honda, Jeep, Nissan, Saturn, Scion, and Toyota franchises in the Kansas City metropolitan area; as well as Acura and Saturn franchises in Springfield, Missouri. A brand new Toyota and Scion facility in St. Louis to round out Wolfe Automotive Group stores.
The Wolfe Automotive Group is under the common control of members of the Wolfe family. The late Jay Wolfe, who began his automotive career in 1954 by opening four used car lots, founded the company. In the 1960’s Jay operated a Rambler-Nash dealership as well as a recreational vehicle and motor home dealership. Mr. Wolfe acquired a Pontiac-GMC franchise located in Kansas City, Kansas in 1971.
Mr. Wolfe’s son, Jeff is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company and works along-side his sister, Cindy Tucci, the Vice-Chairman, to continue and grow the company in their father’s vision. Dave Gatchell who serves as President and Chief Operating Officer works with Jeff and Cindy to insure your buying satisfaction at Wolfe Automotive Group.
The result of the Wolfe’s aggressive growth strategy is an automotive retailing megadealer rated as one of the top 50 largest dealer groups in the country according to both Automotive News and Ward’s Dealer Business. In addition, Ward’s Dealer Business rated the Wolfe Automotive Group as one of the fastest growing dealer groups in the United States as measured by revenue growth. Our eBusiness team is ranked in the Top Fifteen of all dealer groups in the nation, selling more than 3,000 new and used vehicles in 2005 alone.
